Introducing Drawing from Life – Teenagers Drawing Mini-Actions

By Sheila Ceccarelli

This resource shows how teenagers at the Experimental Drawing Class approached drawing from life for the first time.

To see this workshop with younger children see Drawing from Life (and acting up a bit!)

Teenagers worked in small groups, or pairs, and took it in turns drawing each other. To take away any inhibitions and to make the session fun, we introduced a random selection of props; a mobile phone, I-touch, a book and a box of raisins to nibble on.
