Use this worksheet to help you make a sliding drawing.

You will need:
Paper
Pencils
Scissors

1. Make a drawing of a face on a sheet of paper. Miss out the eyes and mouth.

2. Using the scissors, make a cut in the paper either side of where the mouth would be, and a cut either side of where the eyes would be.

3. On a separate piece of paper, cut two long strips, wide enough to slot through the cuts in your drawing.

4. On one strip, draw three different sets of eyes. On the second strip, draw three different mouths.

5. Slot the strips through the cuts in the drawing.

6. Now you can move the strips from side to side to alter the expression and character of your drawing!
