Meet my Sketchbook! – Pupils

Throughout Sketchbooks in Schools we have been keen to draw down practice from secondary schools, colleges, universities and community education, as well as from creative professionals, to inspire the use of sketchbooks in primary schools.

With this in mind we invited teachers of primary and secondary children across the UK to nominate pupils who they think illustrate how sketchbooks can really benefit children.

We’re therefore pleased to announce the following pupils have been chosen to work with AccessArt to create web pages which showcase and share their sketchbook work to pupils and teachers across the UK:

  • Amanda To from Watford Grammar School for Girls
  • Maria Lackmaker & Gemma Jessop from Matravers School
  • Ridwana Khanom from Wilberforce Primary
  • Vanessa Hill, Kate Templeman, Jennifer Kent & Ben Ford from Alameda Middle School
  • These webpages will be created during the Autumn term 2009.
