This teaching pathway helps introduce pupils to the idea behind working in sketchbooks.

Making Sketchbooks
Aim: To get stuck in and thinking laterally!

Starting Point

  • Making Sketchbooks

    • Development

    Then choose from one or more of these (presented in order of ease):

  • Simple Folded
  • Simple Stapled
  • Elastic Band
  • Hole Punch Sketchbook
  • Sewn Sketchbook
  • Thinking Laterally about Making Sketchbooks

    • What’s Next?

    Icebreakers, and Content Development
