Nominate a pupil who best demonstrates the impact of the sketchbook!

Do you know of a primary or secondary aged child for whom the sketchbook has had a great impact upon, and deserves recognition for his or her work?

nominate a pupil

Maybe the child is someone who has struggled with expressing themselves until the sketchbook was introduced, or for whom the sketchbook has enabled a new degree of self-directed learning, motivation or confidence. Or maybe the sketchbook has impacted directly upon one or more areas of learning.

We’d like to offer chosen pupils the opportunity to showcase their work, and share their experience. Chosen pupils will work with AccessArt to create sketchbook pages within this site which will be seen by, and inspire, pupils and teachers across the UK.

This would be great recognition for pupils work, and it will also provide an opportunity for individuals to work with AccessArt to design and develop their sketchbooks web pages. It will also provide publicity for the school, and the opportunity for teachers to comment upon how the pupils sketchbook activity was facilitated/supported.

Nominated pupils can be of any age.

How to nominate

Teachers and parents should complete the short online form with the name, age and school of the nominated pupil, together with a short paragraph (up to 500 words) which describes how the sketchbook has been used and impacted upon the pupil, and a few photos of sketchbook work.

What can successful pupils expect?

Chosen pupils will work remotely (via email) with the AccessArt web designers to create their own page/pages within the sketchbook site. This process will be supported where necessary by teachers/parents.
