AccessArt Workshops: Information for Teachers Visual arts ideas, activities, exercises and guidance
Materials for the Pupil and the Teacher AccessArt provides schools with high quality online resources: a combination of illustrated workshops which learners can access directly, and text-based materials aimed at providing additional information for the teachers. Rather than tagging our resources as being suitable for certain key stages, we tag them by age range. This is because we serve many audiences with the same resource, and audiences outside school are put off by seeing "Key Stage 1" for example. We also feel that many of our resources are suitable for a much wider audience where the teacher feels able to take our ideas and modify them to suit her pupils - depending upon their level of experience and ability. Nonetheless teachers should be reassured that our visual arts teaching and learning resources are of a high standard, and have been created with artists and teachers. We were National Grid For Learning and Curriculum Online badged (when these organisations existed) and the QCA are aware of our activities. We are listed in Teachernet, Schoolzone and TES, amongst many other school resource directories. If you know of a resource you think we should be listed in, pls email us here Use the menu on the left to search for workshops by theme.
