How It Works…
Here is a short video to introduce you to how this course will work.
The course covers two assignments:
- Assignment 1: Autobiographical Drawing
Using drawing and collage materials to exploring portraiture, and learn how to create a hand bound book of the images produced. This workshop was contributed by artist illustrator Aurora Cacciapuoti.
- Assignment 2: Drawing Space
Exploring the power of drawing as a tool to ‘draw space’ and express how we interact with space and place.
You can do them in any order. Each assignment has an introductory video and the task written out and illustrated as well. We want it to be very easy. Once you have listened to the videos, you’ll do the drawing in your own time. You can spend as little or as long as you like on a drawing – so each assignment can take anywhere from a few minutes to several days. It’s completely up to you. You can then upload your drawings to share your drawings with other teenagers around Europe and the world and get a glimpse of each other’s ideas and images.
**We may share uploaded images and include your first name on our social media sites. Please let us know if you would prefer not to have your work posted on Pinterest, Face Book etc.
