Sculpture from Sculpture

This resource develops ideas from Anne-Louise Quinton’s post Making a Pocket Gallery, adapting and playing with forms taking them from small pocket gallery sculptures to full scale sculptures.

Students at Dixons City Academy make drawings of sculpture and using a simple construction technique, a single material and meeting the challenges of height and balance they create their own sculptures.  This is a great resource for looking at 20th century sculpture and sculptural processes.
