Following on from our observational drawing sessions in the Drawing Workshops for Children aged 6 to 10, we moved on to working in 3-d to make fish sculptures. I gave the children a simple method to make a fish shape from plastic bin bags, and showed the children how to use modroc, and then the children were free to take their sculptures in which ever direction they wished. As always the children loved working with their hands – and the sessions took longer than I envisaged as the children were so absorbed. This resource reflects 3, one hour long sessions.
