Ofsted Deep Dive

By James Grimditch.

In this post, Teacher James Grimditch recounts his experience of Ofsted visiting his school and conducting a deep dive in art.

“In July this year, Ofsted carried out a two day inspection of our school, including a deep dive within art. The inspection consisted of lesson observations; looking through sketchbooks; student and staff interviews as well as a review of planning and curriculum. In September we were formally graded as ‘Outstanding’, and to say this was an incredible achievement is an understatement. Celebrating this with our community has been the ultimate highlight of our 10 year journey since the school was built!
