AccessArt Art Week 2026: Kindness and Curiosity Assembly Presentation

Start your AccessArt Art Week by introducing children to the theme of Curiosity and Kindness. This resource includes a presentation that you can use in a whole-school assembly to create a shared beginning that sets the tone for the week ahead and helps children understand the ideas they’ll be exploring in their creative work.

Use the assembly as an opportunity to create a sense of excitement and community across the school, inspire and spark ideas, and encourage children to think about how curiosity and kindness can shape both their artwork and their interactions with others.

Teachers Battle it Out in Conversation with Marks on Paper


Teachers embarked on an exercise whereby they made marks on paper to have a conversation with a partner. This was a playful and fun exercise and teachers very much enjoyed both the process and outcomes.
