With Carnival, or Mardi Gras, (Shrove Tuesday), approaching and celebrated in many parts of Europe and the world, I thought it would be fun to introduce pupils at my Making Club at Milton Road Primary School, to mask making.
After having created Long Legged Animals last term, I decided to continue with the animal theme, and to use our Carnival Mask Template to create animal masks for an Animal Parade at the end of this half term.
This one hour session, the first in a series of three workshops, was about creating initial animal mask designs and generating animal mask ideas.
