CPD Recording: AccessArt Treehouse Challenge: Drawing with Two Hands

image_pdfimage_print

In this 30-minute practical session recording from 05/03/2026, we explored a fresh, playful approach to drawing, guiding you through a series of simple, two-handed experimental drawing exercises designed to challenge traditional ideas of what makes a “good” drawing.

The AccessArt Treehouse Challenges offer young people a way into creative exploration that feels enabling and exciting. You can watch along or join in with the activity. If you would like to join in with the demonstration, you will need cartridge paper, ink, brushes, pencils or other mark-making materials and 2 small objects to draw from.

This session is aimed at educators working outside of mainstream education, such as home educators, educators working within vulnerable settings such as CAHMS, ESBA, hospitals, neuroinclusive spaces, nurture groups, care homes, youth offender institutions, and extracurricular providers.
