#CreativeJourneys

The National Art & Design Saturday Club have made a new film in order to help young people around the country who are choosing options for GCSE this month. We know how important it is to make the right choices and that many people need help in finding full and up to date information about routes into careers in the creative industries.

In January, the latest official figures showed that the creative industries now contribute a massive £84.1billion a year to the economy, providing 2.8 million jobs and confirming the UK’s position as no.1 in the world for creativity. See What Is The Real Value of Visual Arts Education

To make the case to young people in years 8 & 9, and to their parents and teachers, that creative subjects at GCSE will help them make their first steps into further study and creative careers, the National Art & Design Saturday Club have made this short film, highlighting the exciting variety of creative careers and encouraging them to embark on their own #CreativeJourneys.
