Participatory Project: The Treasure Box

The Treasure Box Project was an online participatory project organised by AccessArt in 2012. We put together 50 boxes filled with a variety of found objects and materials, some second-hand with a history of their own, others new. The Treasure Boxes were made available to purchase, with all proceeds going to the AccessArt charity, and were bought by artists, teachers and parents. The challenge was simple: to transform the contents of each box into a work of art.
