Turning Paper into Fur – Creative Drawing Prompts

image_pdfimage_print

In this activity, originally developed for 6- to 10-year-olds, learners were challenged to transform paper into fur by drawing, scratching, tearing, and scrunching its surface to create richly textured drawings that capture the grain and feel of fur.

After exploring the feeling of fur, children were able to choose from a variety of materials and set about to filling their page with texture.
