Every Voice in the AccessArt Chorus Counts!

Join the AccessArt Chorus and Tell Us How Art Helps You, & The Communities You Represent
Art Helps…
Art helps us process and express. Art helps us share and feel connected. Art helps us feel more positive. Art helps us see different perspectives. Art helps us become more tolerant and empathetic. Art helps us find solutions. Art helps us connect to the goodness in the world. Art helps us feel calm. Art helps us heal. Art helps keep children in schools. Art helps us learn to feel safe even when we are unsure. Art helps us be brave. Art helps us collaborate. Art helps us show our vulnerabilities. Art helps us feel alive.

What Is The AccessArt Chorus?
The AccessArt Chorus is your chance (whoever you are) to tell everyone why you think art is important.
By tagging a piece of artwork—whether created by you or by learners in your community—and sharing a message about how art supports you, you become part of a collective voice, each contribution adding strength and inspiration to the others.

Why Must We Speak Up About The Importance Of Art?

How Will The AccessArt Chorus Give You Your Voice?

What Will Make The AccessArt Chorus Truly Powerful?
The impact of The AccessArt Chorus lies in authenticity. When you create—whether you draw, make, write, or sing—give yourself, or those you support, full permission to express freely. Each message should be unique, reflecting the voice, passion, personality, and beliefs of its creator.
There’s no right or wrong way to take part. Use our suggestions below as a starting point, then let your creativity lead the way.
Share your artwork and messages on social media between Thursday, July 10th, and Sunday, July 13th, and tag them with #TheAccessArtChorus.
Thank you for taking the time—and for having the courage—to speak up about how art shapes your life and your community.
Thank you for adding your voice to The AccessArt Chorus.
What Will I Make?
It’s up to you! We have lots of ideas below to start your creative juices flowing. Remember you don’t have to know what you will do before you start making – things will emerge along the way! But you might, for instance, make a bird inspired by the AccessArt bird, and attach a speech bubble to it containing your message. Or you might film your artwork and record your voice over the top. Or you might hold up a cardboard sheet, banner or flag with your message written on it. Or paint on an old t-shirt. Or make a short animation. Or draw on the pavement. Or write a short poem or sing a short song. Or make a Zine. Or design a poster… (See below for lots of ideas!).
Tag photos of your artwork messages with #TheAccessArtChorus between Thursday July 10th to Sunday July 13th.
How Will AccessArt Conduct The Chorus?
You may remember that earlier this year, AccessArt published an open letter to the Government —and over 1,500 people have already signed it. If you were one of them, thank you.
Now, we’re taking the next step.
From July 10th to 13th, we’ll be using the creativity and messages shared through #TheAccessArtChorus to bring even more visibility and depth to our open letter. During this time, we’ll be actively sharing and reposting your tagged artwork and messages across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to ensure our collective voice is seen, heard, and impossible to ignore.
Let’s make our message resonate—together.
When Will The AccessArt Chorus Take Place?
The AccessArt Chorus will run from 9am on Thursday, July 10th to 10pm on Sunday, July 13th.
Make sure your message is ready—create it, photograph it, and be prepared to share it on social media during that time.
Don’t forget to tag your post with #TheAccessArtChorus between July 10th and 13th so your voice can be part of the nationwide celebration of the power of art.
