Installation art transforms spaces into immersive experiences with the experience of the viewer being central. Installations can take the form of physical structures, or can be digital, using elements such as light, sound, or film to engage the viewer.

Installation and sculpture share a lot of similarities, however installation aims to turn the space into art, whereas sculpture exists as an object in space.

Maquettes and miniatures can be used in educational settings to help enable an exploration of installation art.

These resources are adaptable to a wide variety of ages and settings.
