Will has been teaching in primary education for 10 years. He graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a degree in Visual Studies which at the time seemed quite a unique multidisciplinary course. After teaching in Reception for 8 years he developed a passion for learning outside. The opportunity to teach outdoors, full time, across all primary years arose in 2021 and he hasn’t looked back. Since then Will now co-leads art and is developing a shift in how art is taught through the use of experimental sketchbooks, encouraging group work and multimedia pieces. Thinking of creative ways to teach art is his favourite thing to do and if that means getting the children out of the classroom then brilliant!
