“I have always had a strong passion for pen and ink drawing over any other medium. The simple nature of the lines coupled with complex effect it produces transfixes me. It is the ability to create something so wonderful with so little – just a pen and you can make a whole page come to life with anything you could possibly imagine.

My other favourite hobby is stop motion animation, in many ways this is in direct contrast to pen and ink drawing as it is an art form that requires a great deal of time and equipment to carry out smoothly and successfully. I love that I can create, control and produce my very own films, with limited experience and any plot I choose.”
