AccessArt and Mindsets Online worked together to create some exciting new resources which combine art and science! Suitable for primary or secondary aged children or beyond.
The workshops describe how to work with smart materials (materials which change their behaviour depnding upon environmental factors) in fun, engaging and creative ways. We created magic maps – maps which revealed their content via the heat of the hand, made sculptures which glowed in the dark, and textiles which contained LED’s.
The materials can be bought online and are inexpensive.
