I posted my comments on Annjrippins blog. I find her work enthralling . Beautiful, engaging, intelligent and so well crafted. I must admit her work nudged me to take a good look at my prejudices about advertising and has altered my perceptions. So pleased that AccessArt chose her as Artist of the Week and I
was able to experience her work. Many thanks.

Ann – Thank you so much for sharing your work and practice with AccessArt.
I showed my 16 year old who is studying for AS – she has to choose an ‘extended project’ and I used your work as an example of how research can be presented, explored and expressed – it’s really quite an extraordinary leap to make anyway and especially for a student of her age – that the creative process and its outcomes can be a valid way of interpreting and creating concrete comment and research – but of course when you think about it – it makes perfect sense – anyway she loved it and felt liberated by your post and the sudden possibilities presented by it.
i personally am just taken by the layers of richness, both in content and visually, that your work demonstrates.
