Sarah Wright
Sarah Wright, a practising artist for 20 years lives and works in Milton Keynes. She is a life drawing teacher, painter, and is active in the local Arts Community. In 2011 The Drawing Machine was formed from a passion to share the benefits of drawing to a wider audience and to bring The Big Draw to Milton Keynes. Sarah has been teaching drawing from life successfully for 10 or so years using techniques she has discovered and developed based on work with the right side of the brain, including understanding the five perceptive drawing skills of Line, Shape, Relationships, Lights and Darks and The Gestalt (the whole). These techniques enable people to understand how to look, to know what they are looking at, and not what they think they are seeing.
