Choosing, Mounting, Showing and Celebrating Art Work by Teenagers

By Sheila Ceccarelli

The end of the academic year is a wonderful time to host an event to look back on a year’s work, reflect and celebrate the efforts and successes of students.

I wanted to give teenagers at my Experimental Drawing Class, a chance to choose, reflect, share and show their work, so organised a ‘celebration event’ for parents.

A couple of weeks before we’d gone through a vast pile of paper and chosen work that they wanted to keep and a piece each to mount. Students also selected 3D work.
