Ghosts, Dolls and Beads – ‘Making’ Inspired by Objects at Cambridge and County Folk Museum

By Sheila Ceccarelli

This has been a great week to be in Cambridge, UK with loads going on for The Cambridge University Festival of Ideas. The Festival offers hundreds of talks, hands on activities and workshops for all ages as the university departments and museums open their doors to the general public.

AccessArt were delighted to be invited to participate and work with The Cambridge and County Folk Museum offering a workshop inspired by their collection of eclectic local objects and offering a practical hands on making session, which explored the importance of making in the past and an opportunity to contemplate its place in the future. The workshop was designed for young people aged 12 plus.
