Large Scale Drawings: A Big, Visual Conversation
By Sheila Ceccarelli
In this week’s Experimental Drawing Class, teenagers enjoyed working together on large scale drawings. This was a chance to express themselves using big gestures and communicate with each other using the rhythm and design of marks.
I tried to think of an exercise to counteract the highly concentrated session the week before, where students had learned to measure with a pencil Introducing How to Measure in Life Drawing.
This week’s session was far more intuitive, gestural and fluid, what’s more, all the students enjoyed themselves!
